Howdi folks
Drummer Stu checkin in...

Its been nearly a week since the gig, and I've just returned from between the end of the line and the middle of nowhere. Known to some as Norfolk.

Actually, to be fair, I love Norfolk. Its so..... empty, so If you feel like murder, go there, no one would notice!

Anyway, back to the point, and more urgently, I hear you cry HOW DID IT GO STU?!!!! how did what go? THE GIG DUMBASS. Oh, I can't remember, I was well and truly blotted.

No soundcheck, on after eleven, my kick drum pedal broke half way through a brilliant rendition of Les McQueen, the sound guy left before the end of our set, and only about four people turned up. IT ROCKED LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER!

I was gonna try a name and shame type thing for people who failed to show, but it would probably be easier to name the people that could be bothered to get down for THEIR FRIENDS!

I'm not bitter. Just don't expect me to greet any of my people with a smile. They owe me big, except the ones who got their excuses in early, like "oh, er, yeah, I've got tonsilitis (cough)" and "Ee, sorry, I no speeeeeek eeeeenglis" and that old favourite "You're about five months too late, he died in a car crash. Now go away before I call the police." Bitch, how was I to know. Still, gave her a free cd as a consolation, maybe she'll come down to our next one!

So thank you to those people who did come down, I think it was pretty cool all things considering. And shame on you people who FAILED FUCKING MISERABLY to show your spotty bloody arses.

I also realise I have just alienated anyone who will ever come and see us, so...oops

Hi guys,

Drummer Stu is returning for a swift visit. I've not been here for a while, but its nice to see nothings changed! Browns still a cock.......sorry, ROCK (god), and all is right with the world!!!

Just a few thoughts I've been having relating to the band (I know, makes a change!) We make our come back tomorrow night at Sound in Leicester Square, and in all honesty, I'm really quite nervous.

In a way, I think its good that I'm bricking it. Its probably our most prolific gig yet, and I am just hoping you guys are going to show up to justify us being there. What you'll get tomorrow night is NOT the Pearly you've known and loved, but a different interpretation of the songs you've heard before, and a few new ones, which, in my opinion will sound better than the old stuff as they were written with our limitations of just one guitar in mind. SO will you love the new Pearly? We hope so, will you like the new songs? Maybe, will we do our best to make it the best Pearly gig the world has ever seen? Depends on how much we've drunk, but can you afford to miss it?!

Oh, and I now have a microphone. Be scared, be very scared.
