The Story So Far...

This is mainly set up for all friends and fans who may be wondering what we are up to. For any randoms in the audience Pearly
are a bass player short of a rock band. We played our last gig in June 2003 and then waved goodbye to our bass player
Bruce Arnett (He's gone to Australia, check out his blog at www.brucearnett.blogspot.com). Since then we've been sorting
our lives out finding new jobs and places to live. The time approaches when we will start looking for a new bass player and get back on the London scene.

you can email the band at pearly_band@hotmail.com

The band now consists of William Adnams (Vox, Guitars, Keys) Brown (Guitars) and Stuart Hogben (Drums, Wailing), we've been
going as a group for just over a year. We recorded a demo, played a few gigs and then Bruce went to Oz. That was a brief summary for anyone who's stumbled on this by accident while looking for the blog of someone they actually know/ care about.

so what's the pearly goss? Bill still works at the Sherlock Holmes museum in Baker Street. He stands outside dressed as
a Victorian policeman and gets his picture taken with all the tourists. If you're ever in the area go and say 'Hi', he'll be very pleased for the distraction I'm sure! Bill hopes to move from his room in Edmonton to somewhere much nicer in East Finchley
sometime soon. He's written lots of good songs for us to play so there'll be some new stuff to hear when we sort ourselves out.

Brown has a job in ware packing drugs on 12 hour shifts. With his money he will buy a band-mobile to cart the other guys (or more likely Bill) around the place like Fred in Scooby-Doo. Also he needs to buy an amplifier so people can hear him play.

Stu is doing something, not sure what, maybe working with kids?

animals maybe?

This isn't going to be used too much now, I thought it might be fun when we get a bass player and start playing gigs again.
If people want to email the band things I can put them up here, no reason why, might be funny? Can I put pictures up? does anyone know?

In the meantime we're going to try and make another record, though opinion is divided whether we should get a fourth member
first or just get on with it (I have an old Bass lying around) while we're still young. If anyone doesn't have a copy of
the old record get on the email, we'll try and dig one up for you.

anyway, keep the pearly faith, we will return.

later y'all.

Brown
